Federal government vows safe rescue of abducted Kuriga children


The federal government has assured that the abducted pupils of Kuriga secondary and primary schools in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State would soon be rescued.

Minister of Defence, Alhaji Muhammed Abubakar, who stated this in Kaduna while addressing troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army, also said the killing of officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army in Okuama community of Delta State will not neglected, declaring that the perpetrators would be fished out and dealt with decisively.

Abubakar said he was in Kaduna State to encourage the military battling terrorism across the North-West zones being their areas of responsibility, adding that President Bola Tinubu was aware of the sacrifices of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

While describing the sad the killing of officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army in Delta State as unfortunate, the minister said the country has the power, will and strength to end insecurity.
