Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has commissioned the newly constructed Government Junior Secondary School Nasarawan Rigachikun, Igabi Local Government Area, eight months after laying the foundation.
Speaking during the Commissioning ceremony, the State Governor, Senator Uba Sani said the school is one of the sixty-two schools being constructed under the Phase 1 of his administration’s School Construction and Infrastructure Facilities Upgrade.
He explained that, the commissioning marks another milestone in the effort to address one of the problems hindering effective teaching and learning in publics schools across the state.
Earlier in a welcome address, the State Commissioner of Education, Professor Sani Bello said apart from the Sixty-two newly constructed schools, the state government will soon embark on the construction of additional fifty schools across the state to foster conducive learning environment.
Governor Uba Sani is inspecting the ongoing construction of the Technical and Vocational Skills Acquisition City at Rigachikun.
