The National Examinations Council (NECO) has officially released the timetable for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) for internal or school-based candidates.
The announcement marked the beginning of a pivotal period for senior secondary school students across Nigeria.
According to a recent update on NECO’s official X platform, @Neconigeria, the examinations were scheduled to commence on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and will conclude on Friday, July 26, 2024.
It said the release of the examination timetable sets into motion the Councils concerted efforts to ensure that all candidates are well-prepared to tackle their papers with confidence.
The statement urged educators to access the detailed examination schedule to plan their teaching strategies and revision timetables accordingly.
It advised candidates to consult the official NECO website https://www.neco.gov.ng to download the detailed timetable and to keep abreast of any updates or changes to the examination schedule.
