Kaduna state govt performs groundbreaking of 48.8 kilometers road in Chikun LGA


Chikun Local Government Council has expressed satisfaction over the execution of developmental Projects awarded by the Kaduna state Government in the area.

The Chairman Chikun Local Government Council, Engineer, Salasi Nuhu Musa stated this during the groundbreaking of a 48.8 kilometers road in Danbushiya Community of Kujama ward.

The road project awarded by the Kaduna state government will be linking Danbushiya, to Danhonou, Keke A and B, Makera, Dokamaijama'a and Sabon Gero in Millenium City Communities of Chikun Local Government area.

Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony, the Chairman of the Council, Engineer, Salasi Nuhu Musa described the project as a huge development to the entire people of Chikun Local Government area.

In a welcome address, the Village head of Danbushiya, Malam Muktar Musa, commended Governor Uba Sani for remembering them, noting that the area has not witnessed such development for many years.

Some people in the Communities who expressed happiness over the development thanked the Kaduna state Government for awarding the road Project.

They said that when completed it will help in addressing their transportation Challenges and boost economic activities of the area.

They also appealed to the Contractor handling the project to complete the road within the timeframe.
