NFF appoints new Super Eagles Head coach


The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has appointed a German national, Bruno Labbadia, as the new Super Eagles coach.

The new appointment was disclosed in a tweet on Tuesday via the NFF’s X handle.

According to the statement the Nigeria Football Federation reached an agreement with the German tactician, Bruno Labbadia, to become the Head Coach of Nigeria’s senior men’s national team.

Speaking on the development, the federation’s General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi, said the move followed NFF’s Executive Committee recommendation of its Technical and Development sub-committee to appoint Mr Bruno Labbadia as the Head Coach of the Super Eagles.

With this deal, Labbadia becomes the 37th Head Coach of the Super Eagles after the resignation of former coach, Finidi George.
