Kachia local government council of Kaduna state has embarked on a step-down training for Fulani women traders to mitigates diseases that may cause harm to them and their cows.
Director of Agriculture of the local government, Mrs Queen Victoria Saidu stated this during the training at the chamber of the local government.
The stepdown training is aimed at boosting the Economy and nutrition of the people as well as creating a conducive environment in Kachia Local Government Area.
Mrs Saidu advised cattle rearers and the milk product sellers to take precautionary measures to be free from any outbreak in the area especially during the rainy season.
She explained that the need for vaccination is key to maintaining high production consumption both locally and internationally.
The LG Agriculture Director further noted that the need to curtail the spread of the diseases through vaccination, urging them to be obedient to instructions by the specialist.
Responding, the Ardo of Sabon Sarki Zone, Malam Yahaya Suleiman expressed satisfaction with the training and promised to be among the first to call for vaccination of his herds since he has suffered great lost without knowing the caused.
