Kaduna State Government has again made efforts to support education through scholarship for deserving students.
The Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Scholarship and loans Board, Professor Yahaha Saleh Ibrahim stated this while receiving recipients of a foreign scholarship at the board following the completion of their studies in Cuba.
Professor Yahaya Saleh said the state government has completed the payment of scholarships for five merit-based students spanning the years 2022, 2023, and 2024.
He said the recipients of the scholarship, Dr. Aliyu Abubakar, Dr. Amina Yahya, Dr. Mujidat Abdulmajid, Dr. Fatima Jumare, and Dr. Keziah Philip Gyuk, were recognized for their academic excellence and dedication to studies.
He said the state government's ongoing support for education is evident in its decision to sponsor three more students who are currently pursuing their studies in Cuba and to graduate in 2028.
