Kaduna state government says it will continue to initiate policies and programmes aimed at improving healthcare service delivery in the state.
The state Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe disclosed this during a Quadrennial state delegates conference of Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria Kaduna state chapter held at Magadishu Kaduna.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe said the state Government is determined to ensuring that health facilities are operational and responsive to the needs of the people in the state.
She said by coming together and drawing from their expertise and collective wisdom, they can devise innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the health system.
In a remark, the Head of Service Hajiya Habiba Anana Shekaru said the present administration will continue to engage with the leadership of the Medical and Health Workers’ Union, ensuring that their voices are heard, and that their contributions are recognized by the state government.
