Revenue generation; Kaduna state govt to leverage partnership

Kaduna State government has restated its determination towards proper utilization of resources and improving revenue generation through effective collaboration with local and foreign development partners.

The State Governor, Senator Uba Sani disclosed this during a strategic dialogue on the Kaduna State Mutual Accountability Framework with the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, FCDO held at the Council’s Chambers of Sir Kashim Ibrahim House.

The Governor who was represented by the state Head of Service, Hajiya Habiba Anana Shekarau underscored the significance of running a transparent and accountable governance in achieving success in democratic dispensation.

He described the event as crucial as it provides a platform to review the collaborative efforts between the Kaduna State Government and the FCDO in addressing poverty and improving access to essential services.

While expressing gratitude for the partnership, Governor Sani assured of continued commitment to fostering private sector-led growth as a sustainable strategy to uplifting the living condition of the people.

On her part, the Country Director, Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, FCDO, Cynthia Rowe explained that the project puts Kaduna among its priority states due to its unique potentials.

The FCDO Country Director appreciated the Kaduna State Government for facilitating the dialogue, expressing optimism for fruitful collaboration.
