Adamawa State Police Command apprehends 7 suspected pipelines

 Adamawa State Police Command has recovered 53 pieces of damaged fuel pipelines from suspected culprits vandalizing NNPC pipeline.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Suleiman Yahaya who stated this, said the Command acted upon credible information provided by a Good Samaritan.

Yahaya listed the arrested suspects to include a 40 years old Umar Musa; Mohammed Hassan, 25; Adamu Abdullahi, 28, and Yakubu Adamu, 27.

Others are 40-year-old Gabriel Wale 40 from Mafoluku Oshodi, Lagos State; Abubakar Garba 40, from Anguwan Dosa, Kaduna State and Aliyu Muhammad 28 from Darazo local government of Bauchi state.

The police spokesman said the incident poses a substantial threat to public safety and represents a severe act of economic sabotage as it pertains to a crucial infrastructure linking the Adamawa and Southern part of the country.

SP Yahaya further explained that the case has been documented for a comprehensive investigation and measures were underway to apprehend their collaborators.

He added that these achievements underscored the Command’s resolute dedication to safeguarding public assets and ensuring citizens’ safety through collaborative community efforts.
