The Kaduna State Police Command has concluded deployments of personnel and resources to polling units, collation centers and other critical locations to ensure a peaceful and fair election process across the state.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, who revealed this in a statement said the state commissioner of Police, CP Gyoyon Augustine Grimah revealed this after the signing of a peace accord by the chairmen of political parties at the Police Officers' Mess in Kaduna.
He advised that while the election is ongoing, the public should be security conscious of their environment and report suspicious activities or persons to the nearest security formation.
While assuring of a safe and orderly elections in the state, the command noted that residents can report suspicious activities via its emergency room mobile phone numbers 08075391105 and 07039675856 for prompt intervention.
