Kaduna state Governor, Senator Uba Sani has pledged to empower the released #EndBadGovernance# protesters from Kaduna State, if they turn a new leaf.
Speaking to journalists after their released, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Abdulkadir Muazu Meyere said that the Governor has requested him to collect the credentials of those who have completed their tertiary education, promising that some of them will be given employment.
The SSG who stated that the governor will give some them start-up capitals to commence trading, while others will be taught skills, said the government will be tracking their activities and conduct to ensure that they are of good behaviour before these benefits will be extended to them.
Dr Meyere explained that Kaduna State Government has taken the details of the released detainees, noted that they were all medically examined and counselled on the need to change for the better.
‘According to him, the detainees were given a telephone each because they lost their own during detention and the Governor has graciously given each of them N100,000 as a meGovasure of goodwill.
Dr Meyere said that the detainees have been transported back to their various homes.
