Jema'a LG task force on healthcare

The Jema'a Local Government Task Force on Primary Health Care (PHC) Strengthening and Routine Immunization Initiative have convened at the Council Chambers of the Secretariat in Kafanchan to review ongoing efforts and interventions designed to enhance healthcare and immunization programs in the area.

Chairing the meeting on behalf of the Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Task Force, Peter Tanko Dogara, praised the Task Force committee for their effective provision of essential services throughout the region. 

He emphasized that the Task Force's objective is to enhance primary healthcare facilities at the community level and creating a comprehensive, effective, and efficient health delivery system.

The Chairman highlighted the initiatives being undertaken by His Excellency, the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, to encourage active community participation in healthcare delivery, along with the involvement of partner donors. 

While assuring the committee of the Council's commitment to replicate these efforts at the local level and to continue supporting healthcare delivery, the Executive Chairman expressed confidence in the Task Force based on reports of their previous activities, encouraging them to strive for even greater achievements this year, as the reward for hard work is the opportunity to do more.

He reiterated that his administration's five-point agenda aligns with the benchmarks set by the health task force, focusing on providing adequate healthcare and other essential services to the community. 

The chairman urged stakeholders, healthcare workers, and security agencies to fully cooperate and participate in upcoming initiatives by the council.
