Kaduna State Government has restated its determination to give priority to the development of information and communication technology in the state.
Governor Uba Sani stated this at the first international conference on Artificial Intelligence and Islamic Ethics organised by Rider Option Standard Vision held at Sardauna memorial foundation, Kaduna.
Governor Uba Sani who was represented by his special adviser on students’ matters Hassan Rilwan said the state would continue to pay more attention to artificial intelligence considering its importance in ensuring good governance.
In separate remarks, renowned Islamic scholars sheikh Ahmed Abubakar Gumi and sheikh Tukur Adam Almannar said embracing artificial intelligence would help immensely in ensuring easy access to Islamic and western education.
Also speaking, the wife of the Bauchi state governor Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed represented by her special adviser on domestic matters Hajiya Hauwa Umar Idris tasked the participants to make good use of the knowledge they have acquired to achieved the set objectives.
