National Nomadic Education Commission urges state govts to provide infrastructures

In its effort to ensure the effective education to nomadic children in Nigeria, the National Nomadic Education Commission has called on the State Governments to support its schools with the needed infrastructures.

The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Professor Bashir Usman made the call at a capacity building workshop for youth and women on skill acquisition in Kaduna.

He explained that the provision of the infrastructures such as furniture, stationeries and qualified teachers will help to provide quality education to their children.

The Director, Extension Education and Skill Development, Dr. Audu Umar Ardo who was represented by Professor Usman thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving the commission the needed support to excel.

In a separate remark, the Coordinators of the Commission from Ebonyi, Jigawa, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Oyo and Edo states commended the organizers of the workshop, saying it will enhance the knowledge on their various skills.
