In a statement by the chairman and Secretary of the association, Mr Mike Okhumode and Engineer Fatai Jimoh, the association appealed to the Governor to be magnanimous in victory by operating an all-inclusive government for the purpose of developing the state.
While describing the governor as a man of intellect and an achiever, the miners called on the Governor to urgently look into the issue of double taxation and insecurity, noting that the double-edged sword has become retrogressive to businesses across Edo state.
