Gov Uba commissions 12 new road projects in Kaduna

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has Commissioned twelve newly constructed roads within Kaduna Metropolis, marking another major milestone in the state infrastructural development.

Speaking during the commissioning at Unguwar Mu'azu, Kaduna South Local Government Area, the governor explained that the new roads will enhance connectivity and accessibility for residents, farmers, business owners, and other road users in Kaduna and environs.

He said the roads, which were strategically selected are part of the initiative to improve economic growth and better the quality of life of the residents.

The Governor urged  all stakeholder, including community leaders, local government officials, and citizen to take ownership of these roads to ensure they are well-maintained and utilised to their fullest potential.

The newly commissioned roads include; Unguwan Muazu Township Roads, Ja Abdulkadir Road, Bissau Road, Water Intake Road and Off Yakubu Gowan Residential Layout Roads.

Others are Kawo Layout Roads, Off ‘Yan Awaki Road, State House Roads Network, Stadium to Station Roundabouts and Residential Layout, off Gobarau Road.

The remaining ones are Residential Layout, Off Kinshasa Road, Sultan-Surame Road and Ohinoyi Road.
