Kaduna state Governor, Senator Uba Sani has reiterated his commitment to addressing exclusion of the poor, underserved and vulnerable population of the state from financial services.
The Governor stated this while unveiling the “PocketMoni” product by eTranzact Plc for the Nigerian market.
He said his administration will continue to come up with strategies to ensure that they benefit from social intervention programs of Kaduna State and the Federal Government.
Uba Sani explained that it is in a bid to address the challenge that upon assumption of office as Kaduna State Governor, the first Executive Order he signed was on Financial Inclusion.
He said Pocketmoni would help support the financially excluded population in Northern Nigeria by giving them access to mobile wallets and banking services which include access to credits and donor agencies intervention programs.
