Nigeria Labour Congress Kaduna state branch has said that the decision to suspend its strike followed an agreement reached between the state government and the congress.
The state chairman of the Congress, Comrade Ayuba Magaji Suleiman made this Known while Speaking to newsmen in his office in Kaduna.
He maintained that part of the agreement reached was that government will within seven working days provide payment table of the agreed seventy two thousand naira minimum wage which will be made available to the public.
Ayuba Suleiman explained that it was also agreed that after all the Consequential adjustment, government will pay a one month arrears for the month of November.
Comrade Ayuba Suleiman who called on Civil servant to resume work in their respective offices, assured them that the congress will ensure the full payment of the agreed seventy two thousand naira new minimum wage in Kaduna state.
He commended governor Uba sani for engaging the two parties to resolve all the discrepancies in the payment of the new minimum wage in order to ensure full implementation.
