As part of efforts to improve the conduct of Hajj in 2025, Kebbi State Government has pledged to extend a helping hand to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).
Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris made the disclosure when he received the Chairman of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Sale Pakistan on a courtesy call at Government House, Birnin Kebbi.
The governor assured that the essence of extending hands of fellowship was to facilitate the conduct of efficient Hajj exercise.
Gov. Idris pledged to render continues support to Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA) as well as NAHCON to enable the two organisations discharge their duties diligently.
Speaking on last year’s Hajj exercise, the governor urged the commission to do everything possible to improve in the subsequent Hajj operations.
Earlier, Prof. Pakistan said the essence of the visit was to unveil to Nigerians the excellent arrangements NAHCON put in place towards a successful Hajj operations in 2025 and beyond.
