The meeting seeks to sought for the inputs of relevant stakeholders and general public on the proposed bill in order to carry the people along in governance.
Speaking during the engagement, the speaker, Kudan legislative council, DanAzumi Ƙauran Wali who is also a councillor representing Kauran Wali North said the bill when passed into law will checkmate the activities of people who are engaged in all kinds of social vices in the area.
On his part, the District Head of Hunƙuyi, Alhaji Muhammad Aminu Ashiru, Ciritawan Zazzau decried the persistence of moral decadence among the people of the area and called for more concerted efforts to salvage the situation.
The public hearing witnessed the presence of traditional rulers, religious leaders, civil society organizations as well as security personnel who were on ground to voice out their opinion on what it takes to develop the local government.
