Nasarawa State House of Assembly has passed the 2025 appropriation bill with an increase of twenty billion naira.
This raised the total sum from the three hundred and eighty-two point five billion naira earlier budgeted by Governor Abdullahi Sule to four hundred and two point five billion naira.
The speaker, Mr. Danladi Jatau, who announced the passage of the bill into law during proceedings, attributed the increase to the importance attached to some items in the budget and the current inflation.
He said the 2025 appropriation bill, if finally assented to by the governor, would enable the State Government execute people-oriented projects for the overall development of the state.
The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly directed the Clerk of the House to provide him the clean copy for his vetting and onward transmission to Governor Sule for necessary action.
