Parents have been reminded to monitor their children to prevent them from indulging in social vices during these festive periods.
The State Commander, National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kaduna state Command, Dr. Samaila Dan Malam, stated this while addressing newsmen on the dangers of drug abuse and other related offences during the seasons.
He said children who are the leaders of tomorrow, required proper care and guidance to protect them from negative influences.
Dr. Dan Malam, urged Nigerians to utilize the Christmas, boxing day and New Year celebrations as opportunities to foster unity, understanding, and self-reliance among their children.
The NDLEA commander also commended the Kaduna State government for its support, which contributed significantly to the command's success.
