The Plateau State Government has declared 2025 as a year of ground-breaking achievements, including massive road construction projects, and revitalisation of the tourism and agricultural sectors.
Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang made this known in a statement while expressing gratitude to God for His mercies, guidance, and steadfast love for Plateau people in 2024.
He said the African Development Bank (AfDB) had designated the state as a Special Agro-Processing Zone that will ensure food security and sovereignty.
The Governor declared it a year of hope, opportunities and transformative progress that would witness increased investments in technology to further enhance security.
Governor Mutfwang described 2024 as a turning point for Plateau. Under the 2024 budget, tagged ‘Budget of New Beginnings’, he had said his administration laid a strong foundation for rebuilding and repositioning the state for peace and prosperity.
He called for unity and collective determination to achieve greater heights, emphasising that “the strength of the state lies in its diversity.
