In a move to support grassroot sports, the member, Governing Council of the Federal College of Education Potiskum, Yobe State, Mr Nasiru Bala Ja'oji has donated the sum of five million naira to Golden Boys Football Club Kawo, Kaduna.
Mr Nasiru Ja’oji made the donation while speaking during the final match of the 2024 Seyi Tinubu Renewed Hope Kawo Unity December Cup.
He explained that the competition has paved the way for thousands of youths to showcase their talents, adding that the present administration of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to supporting the youth in various aspect especially sports.
While commending the Chairman of the Seyi Tinubu Renewed Hope Unity Cup, Musa Ibrahim for uniting people of Kaduna state, Ja'oji described the competition as a great success to the development of sports in the society.
Speaking on Seyi Tinubu’s contribution in assisting the youth, he expressed optimism that the gesture would go round the country.
Ja'oji called on Nigerians to continued to support the present administration for the development of the country.
