The Executive Chairman of Jema’a Local Government Area, Peter Dogara has donated uniforms to the 57 indigent recruits currently undergoing police training at the Nigerian Police College in Kaduna,
Speaking during the exercise, Dogara said the initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to combating insecurity in the region Prioritizing security is crucial, as the administration is dedicated to safeguarding lives and property in the area.
He commended the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, for his commitment to the SUSTAIN Agenda, noting the strategic role of recruiting over 7,000 members of the Kaduna State Vigilante Service (KADVS) in addressing insecurity and other criminal activities in the state.
The LG chairman also appreciated the citizens for their unwavering support and assured that his administration would continue to collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including traditional rulers, religious leaders, security agencies, community leaders, women, and youth, to enhance and sustain the relative peace currently experienced in the area.
Peter Dogara encouraged the citizens of Jema’a Local Government Area to act as peace ambassadors, promoting peace, unity, and stability within the community.
