Kaduna state Governor, Senator Uba Sani has been commended for his role in ending the industrial dispute between the management of Kaduna Electric and the labour Unions.
A statement by the Chief Convener of the Arewa Think Tank, Muhammad Alhaji Yakubu, said Governor Uba Sani used tact in achieving a consensus between the disagreeing groups.
It explained that the Governor resolved the issue with the negotiating skills of an activist and the acumen of a business man, without resulting to unfavourable compromise on both sides.
According to the statement, the Governor’s action has brought relief to the people of Kaduna, Zamfara, Sokoto and Kebbi states.
The Arewa Think Tank advised the management and labour unions of Kaduna Electric to always settle their internal differences without making their customers pay for their dispute.
