Kaduna State Local Government Council Chairmen have restated their commitment to implementing an all-inclusive 2025 budget in line with the current reality in their respective Local Governments.
The Council Chairmen made the commitment during the 2025 budget defence exercise at the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
The budget defence exercise presented the opportunity for the council chairmen to present their 2024 budget performance and equally present the 2025 proposal.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, the council chairmen interviewed maintained that their respective 2025 budget is geared towards complimenting the actualisation of the Sustained Agenda of Governor Uba Sani’s led administration.
Some of the council Chairmen who raised concerns on some identified challenges in the implementation of the 2024 budgets called on the Kaduna State House of Assembly to assist the councils through its legislative function in addressing likely challenges in the course of implementing the 2025 budget.
