KDSG reiterates commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery

KADHSMA retreat

The Commissioner of Health, Hajiya Umma K. Ahmed, has reiterated the commitment of the Kaduna State government to strengthening the health sector.

She made this assertion while welcoming participants to the 2025 Stakeholders Retreat of KADHSMA in Zaria.

While emphasising that the Uba Sani administration remains dedicated to ensuring uninterrupted access to essential medicines and health products, the commissioner said the recent upgrade of the state’s warehouse to a pharma-grade facility will enhance the supply chain management in the region.

The retreat is focused on strengthening the Kaduna State Health Supply Chain System, and will serve as an opportunity to integrate digital innovations that leverage technology for enhanced inventory management and effective tracking of health commodities.

The Commissioner urged participants to take advantage of technology for optimizing resource utilization, strengthen collaboration with development partners, and enhance accountability mechanisms.
