The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Northern Region, has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering peace and unity for the overall development of the region.
The chairman Reverend John Joseph Hayab stated this during a meeting with the leaders and other clergies at Albarka Fellowship Baptist Church Kaduna.
The gathering brought together state chairmen, their secretaries, and Christian clergies to discuss the way forward for the association under its new leadership.
In a speech, the newly elected chairman emphasized the importance of speaking the truth, regardless of any challenges, and assured that his leadership would not be distracted by criticisms as he would remain focused on uniting the people.
Hayab also urged Christians in the region to avoid distractions that could hinder progress and called for unity, partnership, and a renewed mindset to ensure sustainable growth.
