EFCC boss reassures Nigerians of resolve to fight corruption

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Ola Olukoyede says Nigerians can defeat corruption through collective determination and commitment.

Olukoyede revealed this in his goodwill message to Muslims celebrating Eid-el-Fitr across the country.

He said tackling economic and financial crimes and other acts of corruption is achievable through courageous readiness and corporate commitments of Nigerians.

The chairman urged Muslims to internalise the lessons of Ramadan such as self-denial, discipline, sacrifice, love, and purity, and channel them into a renewed commitment to shun corrupt practices.

Olukoyede also assured Nigerians that the anti-corruption war remains on course, stating that the EFCC is gaining momentum in its efforts to curb economic and financial crimes.
