Kano state government is partnering the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), in an effort to expand renewable energy solutions in the state.
Speaking during a meeting with a high-level delegation from the state government to REA headquarters in Abuja, the Executive Director of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Abba Ganduje reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to supporting Kano State’s renewable energy initiatives.
Ganduje emphasized REA’s dedication to strengthening its partnership with State governments to ensure sustainable energy solutions that drive economic development and improve public services.
During the meeting, both parties explored future collaborations, emphasizing the vital role of clean energy in enhancing electrification in key sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, rural communities, and transportation.
