Kaduna state government has restated commitment to supporting all programmes aimed at providing portable water to all communities.
The Director General Kaduna State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, RUWASSA, Mubarak Shehu Ladan stated this while speaking to newsmen in Kaduna.
He explained that over one hundred communities are to benefit from the first set of modern solar borehole under the sustainable Urban Rural water supply and hygiene SURWASH program from Soba, Igabi and Chikun local government areas.
The Director General said that more are coming as the Agency, has selected six local government areas in Kaduna state to benefit from the programme.
